Mystery's the Pick Up Artist aired on VH1 several weeks ago. I caught a recent episode and wanted to share my predictions.
What I liked:
1. Mystery's Ridiculous Clothes. No one can peacock like Mystery, without a doubt. And the shows budget actually allows for some fancy stuff. I dig it.
The Students. I really like pick up students in general, they're normally so eager to learn, share a common interest with me, and so grateful for the even the tiniest amounts of improvement they make. Students are definitely the #1 reason why I do what I do.
What I didn't like:
Mystery not realizing why some of his students fall short. He's so attached to his structured strategy; he literally has blind spots as to why his students get blown out. "Yeah he ought to have used a false time constraint".
How about his lame body language, total lack of masculine vibe and messed up compliance ratios?
While there were certainly things in regards to this show that irritate the working pick up artist in me, I've got to hand it to Mystery and VH1 for showing the community in a good light to a mainstream crowd.
Out of the four dudes left, here's a few predictions:
Joe: I think this guy has got serious potential on the show. He's got the frame of mind down, but he's the type that can get a certain degree of success and become complacent. He'll get a girlfriend and build his social circle and work off that. Not true master pua material.
Alvaro: This guy could grow to be a master pua, but not in a few weeks, and not under Mystery's tutelage. He's still got the brakes on. The minute he gets beyond that, his game will blow up.
Brady: Tall, great looking, quick learner. He's chill, makes steady progress. His use of corny stuff and constant second guessing of himself is what's holding himself back. If he simply chills out and acts normal he'll be on fire. Again though, like Joe, will probably turn out to be complacent at a certain level.
Pradeep: Could turn into a master pua, but he's got to seriously improve his sensuality. He's in the buddy zone still.
Overall, the show is super entertaining and I'll certainly be trying to catch another episode if I can.
